Teachers Teaching Teachers
Eagle Hill School will once again host the EHS Institute's Teachers Teaching Teachers conference on Saturday, November 7th. The conference, designed for teachers and those pursuing a teaching career, is a place to network with and learn from seasoned educators.
Participants include practicing school teachers from the Boston, Fitchburg, Framingham and Worcester districts as well as Eagle Hill School. Sessions are based on action research completed by real teachers in real classrooms. They will be held on the Eagle Hill School campus in Hardwick, MA.
The keynote address is by Daniel Willingham, Cognitive Psychologist, Professor of Psychology and author of Why Don't Students Like School?
The cost of the conference is $15 for undergraduate and graduate college students as well as EHS Institute Alumni/ae. The registration fee is waived for alumnus from the 2009 Institute.
General public may attend at a cost of $25. Registration includes a continental breakfast, all sessions and materials, and a fabulous lunch and book signing with Daniel Willingham.
